UniFi Video has been officially discontinued by Ubiquiti and replaced by the more modern
UniFi Protect system. While the cameras are often compatible with both systems, the UniFi Video software is no longer being developed. For new installations, it is therefore strongly recommended to switch to
UniFi Protect, which offers better performance and a larger feature set.
