Data Protection Policy
Privacy Policy
§ 1 General
We treat your personal data (e.g., name, address, email, phone number, or bank details) with the utmost care. We process them exclusively in accordance with the strict rules of German and European data protection law (GDPR).
In the following sections, we explain why we collect data, who receives it, and what rights you have. This policy applies only to our own websites. If you access third-party sites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about the respective handling of your data.
§ 2 Data Processing for Contract Fulfillment
(1) Why do we process this data?
In order for us to process your order and send you your goods, we need your data. Without your address, the package unfortunately cannot arrive. During payment, we pass on necessary data to our payment service providers. If you send us an inquiry in advance (e.g., via contact form), we use this data to answer your questions.
(2) Legal basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR.
(3) Who receives the data? Payment and shipping service providers, hosting providers, if applicable merchandise management systems or suppliers (dropshipping).
(4) How long do we store it? We store the data for processing until the expiry of the warranty. Commercial and tax data are stored in accordance with statutory periods (usually 10 years).
You can leave comments with us. Your details (name/pseudonym, email) will only be used for the publication of your post. Our interest is the public exchange of opinions (Art. 6 Para. 1 f GDPR). You can request the deletion of your comment at any time.
§ 4 Web Analysis with Google Analytics
To constantly improve our shop, we use Google Analytics. Google uses "cookies" to analyze how you use our site. We have activated IP anonymization: your IP address is therefore shortened within the EU before it is transmitted to Google.
Objection: You can prevent the collection by using this browser plugin: GA Opt-Out or by deactivating Google Analytics directly here.
§ 5 Stripe & Payment Services
For the processing of payments (e.g., credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay), we use the payment service provider Stripe. The provider for customers from the EU is Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland.
Your payment data entered during the ordering process will be transmitted to Stripe to confirm your identity and carry out the transaction securely. Stripe may also pass on data to affiliated companies and service providers, provided this is necessary to fulfill the contract. Details on data usage can be found in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
§ 6 Uptain (Customer Interaction)
For better communication, we use the plugin from uptain GmbH. It helps us understand how you move on the site in order to offer you help if necessary. The data is deleted immediately after your visit. You can deactivate this here: uptain Opt-Out.
§ 7 Information about Cookies
We use technically necessary cookies (e.g., for the shopping cart). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning website (Art. 6 Para. 1 f GDPR). You can deactivate or delete cookies in your browser at any time.
§ 8 Your Rights as a "Data Subject"
Since it is your data, you have extensive rights towards us:
- Information: You are entitled to know what data we have stored about you.
- Rectification: We must correct incorrect data.
- Erasure: You can request the deletion of your data (provided there are no statutory retention periods).
- Restriction: You can request restricted use of your data.
- Data Portability: Upon request, we will provide you with your data in a common format.
- Objection: You can object to the data processing at any time for special reasons.
Furthermore, you can withdraw your consent at any time or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
