Ubiquiti G6 Instant: 4K Surveillance from the Socket
The UVC-G6-INS proves that you don't have to tear open walls for professional video surveillance. It is the direct successor to the G4 Instant but plays in a completely different league in terms of performance. Where 2K used to be the limit, the G6 now delivers full 4K (8 Megapixels). This means: You can digitally zoom into the video image and still recognize faces or license plates.
Artificial Intelligence On Board
The heart is the new Multi-TOPS AI Engine. The camera analyzes the image directly on the device (Edge Computing). * Smart Detection: It reliably distinguishes between the mailman, your car, or the neighbor's dog. False alarms caused by waving branches are a thing of the past. * Low Light Performance: Due to the enlarged 1/1.8 inch sensor, the G6 Instant captures significantly more details even at dusk before it has to switch to infrared night vision.
Installation in Seconds
No Ethernet cable? No problem. 1. Connect: Plug the power adapter into the socket, USB-C cable into the camera. 2. Pair: The UniFi Protect App finds the camera immediately via Bluetooth. 3. Mount: Whether on a shelf (stand) or on the wall (mounting plate incl.) – thanks to IPX5 protection class, it can even be placed under a canopy or in a carport.
