Antenna Cable

For the transmission between an antenna (WiFi antenna, 5G antennam 4G antenna, 3G antenna etc.) and a terminal for example a WiFi router, 5G, 4G or 3G router, a WiFi PCI adaptor or USB dongle with external antenna connector a coaxial antenna cable is required.

There are several different coaxial cable types with varying characteristics. We manufacture our antenna cables on the basis of RF-240 cable which in our view brings an optimal relationship between loss, bending radius and manageable costs. The antenna cables are assembled by hand in our company. This way, we can ensure optimal quality and respond individually to customer requests. Even large production quantities are no problem for us.

There are various connector types. If you are unsure which coaxial connector you need for your application, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can help you.

Are you experiencing frustrations with your WiFi connection, facing interruptions or dead zones in your home or office? Achieving a stable and reliable internet connection involves more than just setting up a router and paying for a monthly plan. Discover the key factors influencing your connection and how optimizing your WiFi setup can make a significant difference.

Factors Affecting WiFi Stability

To ensure a stable internet connection, it's crucial that all components meet a high-quality standard and communicate effectively. Even with the right conditions, external factors or long distances can still impact your connection. For entrepreneurs and freelancers heavily reliant on a consistent connection, any failure or delay can translate into costly setbacks.

Boosting WiFi Range with Antennas and Cables

Overcoming connectivity challenges can be addressed by enhancing your WiFi range using specialized antennas and cables. Depending on your location, you can choose between directional, omnidirectional, or sector antennas to extend your network's reach.

  • Directional Antennas: Ideal for long-range coverage, these antennas require precise alignment for a stable signal.

  • Omnidirectional Antennas: While offering less range, they transmit signals more uniformly. Installing them at a higher elevation minimizes potential interference.

  • Sector Antennas: A combination of both, providing a balanced solution for optimal coverage.

Connecting your antennas to the WiFi router requires a coaxial antenna cable. Choosing the right cable is essential to avoid signal loss. Consider factors such as cable thickness, length, and quality to ensure an effective increase in range.

Selecting the Right Antenna Cable

Thin cables are suitable for short distances, up to 5 meters, or in high-quality setups. Thicker cables are recommended for longer distances, up to 20 meters. Keep in mind that thicker cables have larger bending radii, requiring careful installation planning. Pigtails serve as plug-in adapters for connecting thicker cables to smaller sockets.

At WLAN-Shop24, we offer the RF-240 coaxial antenna cable, renowned for its quality and affordability. Choose from individual meters, 100-meter reels, or pre-configured cables with the necessary plugs.
