Ubiquiti G4 PTZ: Uncompromising Remote Surveillance
The UVC-G4-PTZ is the flagship of the UniFi Protect series. It is built for situations where "normal" cameras reach their optical limits. Where a standard camera only shows pixel slush, the G4 PTZ plays its strength: The 22x optical zoom (F1.5 lens). This allows you to read license plates at the other end of a parking lot or identify faces in a crowd.
Control Without Delay
The biggest problem with many PTZ cameras (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) is sluggish control. You press "Left", and the camera moves 2 seconds later. Ubiquiti solved this: The G4 PTZ offers extremely low latency. The movements follow your inputs in the Protect App almost in real-time. This makes active tracking of objects child's play.
Sony Sensor & Night Vision
Inside works a high-quality 1/1.8" Sony Image Sensor. * Day: Razor-sharp 4K images. * Night: When it gets dark, high-performance IR LEDs switch on. They are so strong that they can illuminate objects up to 100 meters away.
Installation & Power
Attention: This "beast" needs power. The camera is powered via PoE++ (802.3bt). Make sure your switch supports this standard or use the included PoE injector. The housing is massively built, IP66 certified (water jet proof), and also withstands vandalism attempts (IK04).
