Inside, a powerful quad-core ARM Cortex A73 processor with 3 GB RAM ensures reliable performance. A key feature is the integrated security stack with functions such as intrusion detection and prevention (IDS IPS), deep packet inspection (DPI), content filtering, firewall zoning, and more than 55,000 threat signatures. Even with security monitoring enabled, the UCG Fiber reaches impressive data rates of up to 5 Gbit, making it a true all-rounder for networking and security.
A special highlight is the integrated NVMe slot for SSDs up to 2 terabytes, turning the gateway into a local storage solution for video surveillance with UniFi Protect. In short, the UniFi OS Console is the "operating system" and management interface for your entire UniFi ecosystem – controllable locally or via the cloud.
