Internet, wherever you need it: Your 4G / 5G Routers
With the TP-Link Archer MR100, you free yourself from dependence on a fixed broadband connection. Whether in a vacation apartment, allotment garden, construction site, or pop-up store – this compact 4G / 5G Routers is your command center for reliable internet. Simply insert a 4G SIM card from any provider, and the router will independently establish a connection to the mobile Network. Within minutes, you'll supply all your devices like laptops, smartphones, and tablets with stable WiFi Routers.
Maximum Flexibility: Primary Connection or Smart Backup
The Archer MR100 is not just a pure mobile 4G / 5G Routers. Thanks to its configurable LAN/WAN port, it offers you maximum flexibility. Use it as a primary internet source in places without a landline or integrate it into your existing Network. In WiFi Routers mode, you can connect it to your DSL / VDSL Routers or fiber optic modem and use the 4G connection as an automatic failover backup. If your main line fails, the MR100 immediately steps in and maintains your connection without interruption – ideal for home offices and small businesses that rely on a permanent online connection.
No Signal? No Problem! Improve Your Reception
Are you in a rural area or a building with poor mobile signal? The Archer MR100 is prepared for exactly that. It has two external 4G Outdoor Antennas, which ensure significantly better reception compared to internal Antennas. The best part: The Antennas are attached via standard SMA connectors and can be unscrewed. This allows you to connect more powerful 4G Outdoor Antennas if necessary, to drastically improve signal strength and connection stability.
Easy Setup, Full Control
TP-Link makes getting started as easy as possible. Configuring the Archer MR100 is child's play thanks to the 'Plug and Play' principle and the intuitive, web-based user interface. Alternatively, you can conveniently manage all settings via the TP-Link Tether App on your smartphone or tablet. Create a guest Network for visitors, set up parental controls, or monitor data usage – you have full control over your Network at all times.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I use the TP-Link Archer MR100 without a fixed-line internet connection?
Yes, that's exactly what it's designed for. You only need an activated 4G-LTE SIM-card with a data plan. The router uses the mobile network to establish an internet connection and create a WiFi network.
Does the Archer MR100 support 5G networks?
No, the Archer MR100 is a pure 4G/3G router. It cannot connect to 5G mobile networks.
How many devices can connect to the MR100 simultaneously?
The router supports simultaneous access for up to 32 wireless devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Can I improve the range of the mobile signal?
Yes. The router has two detachable external 4G antennas. In case of poor reception, these can be replaced by more powerful external directional or omnidirectional antennas to improve signal strength and stability.
Why does my WiFi only have 2.4 GHz and no 5 GHz?
The Archer MR100 is a single-band router and, for cost reasons, only supports the 2.4 GHz frequency band. This is sufficient for basic internet activities but can lead to interference and lower speeds in environments with many other WiFi networks.
Is the router suitable for online gaming or 4K streaming?
Conditionally. The 4G speed of up to 150 Mbit/s is theoretically sufficient. In practice, performance and latency (ping) heavily depend on the quality and utilization of the local mobile network. For demanding gaming and stable 4K streaming, a wired broadband connection is generally more reliable.
