This WiFi omnidirectional antenna / rod antenna is designed for the 2.4 GHz WiFi frequency band and supports all common WiFi standards within this frequency band (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n). The WiFi antenna has a gain of 7 dBi and is therefore designed for WiFi networks over short to medium distances. By using this WiFi antenna, you typically increase the range of your WiFi network and improve the signal quality of your existing WiFi connection.
Due to the slightly directional radiation characteristics of this WiFi antenna, the signal is evenly radiated at 360° on the horizontal plane. On the vertical plane, the signal is radiated with a beamwidth of 17°.
This WiFi omnidirectional antenna has an RP-SMA connector with a swivel joint (see product images) and is intended to be directly screwed onto a WiFi device. Of course, an external antenna port is required for this.
