Antenna Magnetic Base (Single): Small Change, Big Effect
Often the location of the router, PC, or miner is not the best place for the antenna. Metal housings, walls, or other electronic devices interfere with the signal.
This simple magnetic stand solves the problem: It acts as an extension cable with a stand function. You unscrew your existing antenna from the device, screw it onto the base, and place it where reception is best – for example, on top of the cabinet or directly at the window.
Perfect for Helium Miners and IoT
Many Helium miners (Bobcat, SenseCAP, etc.) come with a small rod antenna that sits directly on the back of the device. However, if the miner is on a shelf, the antenna barely sees any signals.
With this magnetic base, you can continue to use the original antenna but place it directly on the window sill or attach it magnetically to the radiator. This is the cheapest upgrade for better reception (witnessing).
Universal RP-SMA Standard
The base uses the widely used RP-SMA standard:
* Top (Base): RP-SMA Jack (pin in the center) – your antenna fits here.
* Bottom (Cable): RP-SMA Plug (hole in the center) – this plugs into the device.
This fits Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and most indoor LoRaWAN devices.
