Anyone traveling in a camper or on a boat knows the problem: The router is great, but the antenna cable swallows half the power. Or: The antenna is great, but the router in the cupboard has poor reception.
This bundle solves the physical problem once and for all.
Why the Router Must Be on the Roof
The Poynting EPNT-4 is a so-called "CPE" (Customer Premises Equipment). You open the antenna enclosure and mount the Teltonika RUTX50 directly inside.
The connection between the router and the antenna is only a few centimeters long. This means: Zero Attenuation. Every decibel of signal strength arrives directly at the modem.
You only run a robust network cable down into the vehicle, through which the router receives power (via PoE) and transports the data.
The Router: Teltonika RUTX50
The RUTX50 is Teltonika's flagship. It offers: * 5G Speed: Blazing fast downloads (up to 3.3 Gbps theoretical). * Dual SIM: Two SIM card slots for automatic switching (e.g., Card A for domestic, Card B for abroad). * Industrial Quality: Built for continuous operation in heat and cold.
The Antenna: Poynting EPNT-4
The EPNT-4 is an omni-directional antenna. You don't have to align it – it receives signals from all directions. * 4x4 MIMO Cellular: Covers all LTE and 5G bands (617 – 4200 MHz). * 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi: Since the router sits on top, it also broadcasts Wi-Fi from above. Perfect for surfing in front of the camper or on the boat deck. * GPS: An active GNSS antenna ensures you always know where your vehicle is.
