Double Performance in the 5 GHz Band
The biggest upgrade over the old "Lite" model lies in the 5 GHz radio module. The U6+ supports full 160 MHz channel width here.
This means: If you connect a current smartphone or laptop (WiFi 6), speeds of up to 2402 Mbps are now possible instead of the usual 1200 Mbps.

The U6+ uses the same mounting plate. No need to drill new holes. Simply twist off the old AP, twist on the new U6+, adopt – done. A network upgrade couldn't be simpler.
