The Poynting MIMO-3-17 is a 7-in-1 high-performance, multi-band antenna in a single housing. The antenna contains four cellular antennas, two dual-band WiFi antennas, and a GPS/GLONASS antenna. The four cellular MIMO antennas cover the current bands from 410 MHz to 3800 MHz, including the newly emerging 4G and 5G frequency spectrum. The ultra-wideband performance of the antenna allows it to be used across different operators and technologies and is ready for future cellular technologies.
The antenna offers two separate dual-band WiFi antennas that simultaneously cover the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and support 802.11n and 802.11ac/ax with 2x2 MIMO. The seventh antenna is a high-performance active GPS/GLONASS system that operates at temperatures as low as -40°C.
The Poynting MIMO-3-17 surpasses the performance of many competitors because attention has been paid to the design of this high-performance antenna. The radiation patterns of all radiating elements offer an excellent balance between omnidirectional behavior, pattern diversity and good radiation properties at the desired elevation, which is often overlooked with such a small antenna.
