Yes, thanks to its standardized N-female connector and 50-ohm impedance, it is compatible with virtually all Helium Miners and LoRaWAN gateways that have an external antenna connection of this type. Only a suitable, short, and low-loss Antenna Cable is required.


Do I need to ground this antenna?

Yes, grounding is strongly recommended for safe operation. The antenna features DC grounding, which dissipates electrostatic charges. The mast on which the antenna is mounted should be professionally integrated into the building's Lightning Protection system to protect connected devices.


Can I also use this antenna indoors?

Although it is designed and certified for outdoor use (IP67), indoor use (e.g., in an attic) is technically possible. However, walls and ceilings severely restrict signal propagation, which is why free outdoor mounting is always recommended for optimal performance with this LoRa / Helium Antenna.


What does the beamwidth of 70° x 60° mean in practice?

This describes the main cone of signal radiation. At a distance of 1 km, the antenna would primarily 'illuminate' an area of approximately 1225 meters in width (70°) and approximately 1050 meters in height (60°). Easy installation and works perfectly.

Since our Telekom Speedport Hybrid router always connected to the nearest cell tower, and this tower has been completely overloaded for several months, we needed a special 1800 MHz antenna so the router would connect to a different tower. We ordered the antenna, connected it with the included cable, aligned it with the appropriate cell tower, ran a speed test, and voilà: the download speed increased from 1-2 Mbps to 25-35 Mbps!

Da sich unser Telekom Speedport Hybrid-Router immer mit der nächstgelegenen Zelle verbunden hat und diese seit mehreren Monaten völlig überlastet ist, brauchten wir eine spezielle 1800 MHz Antenne, damit sich der Router mit einer anderen Zelle verbindet. Antenne bestellt, mit dem mitgelieferten Antennenkabel angeschlossen, zum passenden Funkmasten ausgerichtet, Speedtest gemacht und voilá: Steigerung der Downloadrate von 1-2 Mbit/s auf 25-35 Mbit/s!
