Ubiquiti UXG-Max: The Gateway for Gigabit+
The UXG-Lite is great, but what if your internet connection is faster than 1 Gbps? Or if you need more LAN ports directly on the router?
The UXG-Max (Gateway Max) is the solution. It keeps the compact form factor but massively upgrades the connectivity.
2.5 GbE on All Channels
The UXG-Max is one of the few compact gateways on the market that fully embraces 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. * WAN Side: Perfect for modern fiber modems with 2.5G output. * LAN Side: Four ports to directly connect, for example, a 2.5G Access Point (like the U7-Pro) and a fast switch.
Double Network, Double Security
A huge advantage over the Lite model is the Multi-WAN capability. You can transform one of the LAN ports into a second WAN port. Connect a 5G modem or a second DSL line there. If your main internet fails, the UXG-Max takes over seamlessly.
Plus, it features a powerful IPS/IDS Engine (Intrusion Prevention) that checks your traffic in real-time – with a throughput of up to 1.5 Gbps.
Controller Required!
Important to know: Like the UXG-Lite (and unlike the "Cloud Gateways"), the UXG-Max does not have a built-in controller. It is intended for setups where a Cloud Key Gen2 Plus, a self-hosted server, or cloud hosting is already present.
