CNT-400: When Every Decibel Counts
In radio connections within the LoRaWAN or Wi-Fi range, the cable is often the weakest link in the chain. Standard cables often "swallow" a large part of the signal before it even reaches the antenna. The CNT-400 was developed to solve exactly this problem. It belongs to the class of "Low Loss" cables with a 10mm diameter.
Technically, it plays in the same league as the world-famous LMR-400 (Times Microwave) or the HDF-400 / KMR-400. If you received a recommendation for LMR-400 for your Helium setup, the CNT-400 is the technically equivalent solution.
The Perfect Connection for Helium Miners
The N to RP-SMA connector combination is no coincidence, but the standard for crypto miners:
* LoRaWAN Gateways: Almost all common miners (Bobcat 300, SenseCAP M1, RAK V2, Nebra, Linxdot) have an RP-SMA port on the housing.
* Outdoor Antennas: Powerful fiberglass antennas for the roof usually have an N-connection.
* No Adapter: This cable connects both worlds directly. This prevents attenuation losses caused by additional adapters and ensures maximum earnings (witnessing).
Wi-Fi Range Optimization
RP-SMA is also the standard connector in the Wi-Fi sector (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for routers and access points that support external antennas (e.g., from Asus, TP-Link, or Ubiquiti). With this cable, you can connect a directional antenna outdoors without loss.
Robustness and Handling
The CNT-400 is made for the outdoors. Rain, snow, and aggressive UV radiation do not harm the resistant jacket.
Important note on installation: Due to the large diameter (approx. 10mm) and the solid inner conductor, this cable is comparatively rigid. It cannot be bent as tightly as thin standard cables. Please take this into account when planning cable routing.
