Bridging Extreme Distances
When building M2M and IoT networks, one often encounters the problem of isolated locations. A moisture sensor in a distant field, a pumping station in a valley, or a remote Helium miner need a stable connection to the main gateway. An omnidirectional antenna wastes its energy in all directions here. The Interline PANEL 14, on the other hand, takes all the transmission and reception power and concentrates it to 14dBi thanks to its massive construction. The signal is fired in one direction like a powerful spotlight, enabling gigantic ranges of several kilometers/miles (with a clear line of sight / LOS).
30° Focus: Aiming is Everything
The enormous range of this antenna comes at the cost of a narrow beamwidth of 30° each in the horizontal and vertical planes. This means: This antenna is not a watering can that supplies a whole village, but a precision tool. During installation, the antenna must be aligned exactly to the target area or the remote gateway. Once perfectly adjusted, it provides an unshakable and extremely stable connection, even if the signal has to pass through light foliage or rain.
Massive Build for Mast Mounting
Performance needs space: With dimensions of 50.4 x 50.4 cm and a weight of almost 3 kilograms, this panel antenna is a true heavyweight. The completely sealed and UV-resistant casing is IP67 certified and easily withstands heavy rain, snow, and ice. To safely absorb the wind load, a massive, tiltable metal mounting bracket is included. The antenna must absolutely be mounted on a very stable antenna mast.
