ZTE MU5001: Your Personal 5G Tower
When you're on the move, you don't need cables, you need fast WiFi. The ZTE MU5001 specializes in exactly that. It is one of the most compact 5G routers on the market and fits in any pocket.
Inside works the proven Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 chipset. It ensures that you can handle 4K streaming, video calls, or large uploads effortlessly – wherever you are.
Intuitive Touch Control
The highlight is the 2.4-inch touchscreen. You don't need to open a clumsy web interface on your phone to check the WiFi password or switch the network mode from 5G to 4G. A tap on the screen is enough.
Wi-Fi 6 and USB Tethering
This version of the MU5001 dispenses with the classic network port (LAN) to save weight and space.
Instead, it relies fully on Wi-Fi 6 (AX1800). This provides enough bandwidth for up to 32 devices.
Pro Tip: If you do want to connect your laptop via cable, simply use the included USB-C cable. The router charges from the laptop and delivers internet simultaneously (USB tethering).
Improve Reception
Should you be in a building with thick walls or in a camper, the MU5001 has two TS-9 ports. Here you can connect external 5G antennas to keep the signal stable.
