The Ubiquiti USW-Flex-XG is a compact Layer2 5-port switch that supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. It is ideal for applications that require fast and reliable data transfer, such as connecting servers and storage devices, transmitting high-quality video or audio content, and building home or small business networks. The USW-Flex-XG has four 10 Gigabit RJ45 ports and one 1 Gigabit RJ45 port. It can be powered via PoE or a 5V USB-C adapter.
UniFi ControllerThe UniFi Switch is managed via the free UniFi Controller software. The UniFi Controller was developed for convenient control and allows administrators to configure and monitor UniFi switches and other UniFi components using the graphical user interface. There are no additional software, license or support fees for the UniFi Controller software.
A single UniFi Controller can manage multiple UniFi locations in the cloud in a centralized interface. Each location is logically separated and has its own network monitoring, configuration, statistics and administration access.
The UniFi Controller allows you to access any UniFi Switch and configure a variety of features:
- Operation mode (switching, mirroring or both together) per port
- Network/VLAN configuration
- Jumbo Frame and Flow Control Services
- Network settings
