WiFi 7:

Officially named IEEE 802.11be Extremely High Throughput (EHT), WiFi 7 is the brand new standard for WiFi devices. The term WiFi stands for Wireless Fidelity, which can be loosely translated as “wireless radio network”. WiFi originally referred to devices that are able to receive WiFi and meet certified standards. When developing WiFi 7, the best features of the two most recent predecessors - WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E - were combined. Features such as OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing) and BSS Coloring were adopted from WiFi 6. These ensure that every device in large WiFi networks can transmit data without delay. From the newer WiFi 6E, the standard takes over access to the 6 GHz band, which leads to even higher WiFi speeds. Experts expect that speed and stability can finally go hand in hand. WLAN Mesh with roaming:

The combination of Omada and the high performance of this professional access point enables the construction of an extremely stable WLAN mesh solution with a very high bandwidth and range for flexible and effective WLAN network installations. Even video streaming and voice calls are not affected when users move between different access points within the Omada network.

PoE++ Support:

The EAP783 supports both 802.3bt PoE and passive PoE for flexible installation. The PoE adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.

Central Management - Omada:

Omada is the central control and management software of this system. The Omada Controller software is available as a free download for Windows, MacOS and Linux. This makes it possible to run the controller software on a computer integrated within the network. Alternatively, TP-Link also offers standalone controllers with Omada Controller software installed. The Omada system is then managed either via its own web interface or with an Omada cloud account via the Omada app, which is available for Android and iOS. In this constellation you can also access your Omada network from outside. All integrated Omada access points and Omada-capable switches are managed centrally via Omada. This enables quick, clean administration of your network. Additional access points can be added quickly and easily.

Wir haben dieses Modell als Repeater in unserem Großraumbüro, damit das WLAN überall gleich gut erreichbar ist. Er funktioniert sehr gut, die Verbindung ist überall konstant und die Balken sind voll. Der Versand hat nicht lange auf sich warten lassen und der Preis ist auch gut, daher 5 Sterne.
