For system integrators and IT administrators, the UAP-AC-PRO 5-Pack is the most economical way to network a building.
You get five units of arguably the most reliable UniFi Access Point of all time. It combines high speed, enormous stability, and flexible hardware features often missing even in newer WiFi 6 models (such as the second LAN port).
Technical Superiority in Detail
The AC Pro uses a 3x3 MIMO configuration on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. This means it has three antennas each for transmitting and receiving. This ensures higher data throughput and a better connection to laptops (like MacBook Pros) that also utilize 3x3 antennas.
Additionally, the secondary Gigabit port allows wired devices to be connected directly to the Access Point – ideal for installing a surveillance camera on the ceiling without running a second cable.
Environmental Protection via Bulk Packaging
In this set, Ubiquiti dispenses with retail packaging and PoE injectors.
This reduces waste and price. It assumes that the devices will be powered via a PoE-capable switch (802.3af or 802.3at) such as the UniFi USW-24-PoE or USW-Pro-48-PoE.
