Tracking Without Workshop Costs
Normally, installing a GPS tracker means routing cables, removing trim panels, and paying workshop fees. The Teltonika FMP100 completely changes the rules of the game. It is ideal for courier services, rental cars, car-sharing, or private use. You simply plug it into the standard cigarette lighter socket (supports 12V and 24V for cars and trucks) and the device immediately begins sending high-precision GNSS location data to your server via the 2G (GSM) cellular network.
Intelligent Feedback for the Driver
This tracker doesn't just read data; it communicates too! On the front, there is a programmable RGB LED button and an acoustic buzzer. Fleet managers can use these to warn the driver in real-time – for example, when the speed limit is exceeded, during aggressive braking (Eco-Driving), or when the vehicle leaves a specific geo-fenced area. The button can even be programmed so that the driver can switch between private and business trips with a single press!
Charges Instead of Blocking
The biggest criticism of plug-and-play trackers is often the blocked power outlet. Teltonika thought ahead: The FMP100 features a pass-through USB port (5V 1A) on the front. This allows you to continue charging your smartphone or navigation system normally. Should the tracker ever be unplugged, the internal 170 mAh backup battery ensures that an "unplugged" warning is sent and the device can continue to transmit its location for a while.
