A standard PoE+ (802.3at) connection only provides the USW-Flex with a limited PoE budget. The USW-Flex-Utility elegantly solves this problem: The integrated 60W PoE Injectors / Power Supplies provides the UniFi Switch with maximum power. This gives you the full 46 watts of PoE budget to operate multiple PoE devices such as UniFi IP Cameras or UniFi Access Points on the four output ports. It is the ideal solution if you do not have a PoE++ (802.3bt) source available and still need maximum performance. This makes the Enclosure one of the most important `Ubiquiti Accessories` for outdoor use.
Secure and Flexible: Thoughtful Mounting Systems for Every Environment
Everything was considered during development. The included bracket allows flexible Mounting Systems on a wall or, with the enclosed metal strap, on a pole. This is ideal for installation on light poles or posts for monitoring parking lots or outdoor areas. For additional security, an included Torx security screw makes unauthorized access to the UniFi Switch difficult. Clean Cabling management inside the enclosure completes the thoughtful `Mounting Systems` and ensures a tidy installation.
