Ubiquiti F-POE-G2 is a Power over Ethernet converter designed for long distances of up to 100+ meters without data loss during outdoor transmission. With the FiberPoE Gen 2, data and power are routed via separate cables, improving transmission stability. With transmission rates of 1 Gigabit over Ethernet cable and fiber optic and simultaneous supply via PoE. Use a FiberPoE Gen2 to route fiber to Ethernet or a combination of two FiberPoE Gen2 to connect a fiber to a fiber bridge.
Surge Protection
With a built-in high-current gas discharge tube (GDT) for the DC terminal block and the PoE port, the FiberPoE Gen 2 provides enhanced surge protection. The extra GDT support effectively protects against lightning strikes and other power surges.
Fiber Distributed Data Transport
Use of fiber optic cables for data transport significantly reduces Electrostatic Discharge Failure (ESD) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). The FiberPoE Gen 2 supports a 1G SFP module and 24V or 50V power supply via a DC cable or a PoE cable. The data integrity of twisted-pair cables is also given over 100 meters.
Outdoor PoE
You can use the F-POE-G2 outdoors at temperatures between -40°C to +60°C. For mounting on a mast, two pipe clamps are included in the scope of delivery and ensure a stable attachment.
