Ubiquiti NS-WM: When There's No Room Outside
Often reception is best outside, but you aren't allowed to mount an antenna there. Be it due to building regulations, strict landlords, or simply because you are only there temporarily.
The NS-WM (Window Mount) solves this problem. It brings the directional radio power right behind the glass.
Rock Solid Hold
Forget shaky GPS mounts for cars. This suction cup is designed for the continuous load of a NanoStation. Once tightened, it holds onto any clean, smooth glass surface.
The adapter simply slides onto the back of the NanoStation (where the zip ties usually go).
Important Note on Attenuation
Please note: Glass is not air.
Every window attenuates the WiFi signal. With old single-pane glass, the loss is low. With modern triple-glazed thermal insulation glass (often metal-coated), the signal can suffer significantly. Ideally, test the connection provisionally before finalizing the installation.
