Does the NS-WM mount also fit my NanoStation AC?
No, this mount is specifically designed for classic NanoStation M-models like the NSM2 or NSM5. Your newer NanoStation AC has a different casing and requires a different Mounting System. It's best to double-check which model you have to be sure.
Will the suction cup really hold permanently on the outside of my window pane?
The suction cup grips very firmly on clean, smooth surfaces. However, for permanent outdoor mounting where wind and weather are a factor, we strongly recommend using the included wall mount with screws. For indoor use or a quick, temporary solution, the suction cup is absolutely excellent!
Can I rotate my NanoStation a full 180 degrees with the mount?
Thanks to its two joints, the mount is super flexible. While it can't achieve a full 180-degree rotation, you can precisely swivel and tilt your NanoStation to easily align it in almost any direction to find the best signal.
What material is the mount made of, and is it weatherproof?
Absolutely! The mount is made from the same robust, UV-resistant plastic as your NanoStation itself. So you can mount it outdoors without any concerns – rain and sun won't affect it.
I've installed the mount, but my signal is poor. What can I do?
The mount itself doesn't affect your signal. The trick is perfect alignment! Use the flexible joints and adjust your NanoStation in tiny increments. It's best to log into the airOS interface and monitor the signal strength until you find the perfect spot.
Are the included screws suitable for my wall?
The set includes standard screws that are great for solid walls like concrete or solid brick. However, if you have a wall with external insulation (ETICS), a wooden facade, or a hollow wall, please get the appropriate special screws and anchors from a hardware store to ensure everything holds securely.
