Ubiquiti UB-AM: The Solid Foundation
Most outdoor WiFi devices (CPEs) come with a mount for pipes or poles. But what if you don't have a mast on the roof and just want to screw the device to the garage wall?
This is where the UB-AM comes in. It is the bridge between "Wall" and "Pole Device".
Simple Concept, Great Effect
The UB-AM consists of a base plate and a curved pipe.
The pipe has the perfect diameter for the standard mounts of the NanoStation and NanoBeam series. You simply attach your device to the UB-AM using the zip tie or metal strap (included with your device), just as if it were a real antenna mast.
Alignment Made Easy
Although the arm itself is rigid, you can swivel your device on the pipe by almost 180 degrees (left/right) and tilt it depending on the device mount. The distance from the wall ensures you have enough "air" to beam past gutters or window reveals.
Robust Metal
Unlike cheap plastic holders, the UB-AM is made of steel and thickly powder-coated. It won't become brittle even after years in the sun.
