Teltonika RUT241: The Classic with New Power
Never change a running system? Teltonika dared to do it anyway – and did everything right. The RUT241 inherits the legacy of the world's best-selling industrial router, the RUT240. The design goal was clear: 100% compatibility on the outside, 100% future-proofing on the inside.
Why Switch from RUT240?
Due to global chip shortages, the RUT240 was discontinued. The RUT241 uses a modern MediaTek processor. * The Advantage: Higher processing power for VPN encryption and faster boot times. * The Compatibility: The housing, antenna connectors, and 4-pin power connector are identical. You don't have to rebuild your control cabinets (or your van installation)!
M2M Workhorse & Camper Favorite
The RUT241 is a hybrid talent. It is robust enough for industry, but compact and economical enough for leisure use.
1. In Industrial Use:
It keeps machines, photovoltaic systems, or vending machines online 24/7. If the fixed line fails, it automatically switches to 4G (Failover).
2. In Camper & Van:
Many campers appreciate the RUT241 as an affordable, professional a4Grnative to mobile hotspots.
* Power Supply: It tolerates 9 - 50 Volts. So you can connect it directly to the 12V or 24V on-board battery (no extra power supply needed).
* Reception: Thanks to the SMA connectors, you can connect external roof antennas. This gives you reception in the forest where the mobile phone gave up long ago.
* Size: It is so small (83 x 25 x 74 mm) that it disappears behind any paneling.
Small Features, Big Impact
Despite its small size, the RUT241 offers professional features: * Digital I/O: Via the input/output, you can switch a relay via SMS (e.g., heater on) or receive an alarm. * RMS Ready: Manage your router centrally via the Teltonika Remote Management System.
