QuWireless QuMax A240M: Free Your Router!
Hand on heart: Your Teltonika RUT241 is a reliable workhorse, but in the basement, inside a steel cabinet, or behind the thick walls of your garden shed, it stands no chance.
The QuMax A240M is the solution. It's not just an antenna, but a complete, weatherproof outdoor home for your router. You simply bring the tech to where the reception is.
Not Just for Machines: Internet for Your Home
Sure, this antenna is an industry standard. But why should only machines have good reception?
If you have a cabin in the woods, an allotment garden, or a home office in the countryside where the DSL cable doesn't reach, this system is your savior. The Teltonika routers (RUT2xx) aren't 5G race cars, but they run as stably as a tractor. Together with this directional antenna, you get a reliable connection for emails, WhatsApp, smart home control, or cozy browsing in the evening – exactly where your phone gave up long ago.
Why Directional is a Gamechanger
The integrated 4G antennas are directional. This means: You roughly align the enclosure towards the nearest cell tower during installation. The antenna "listens" specifically in this direction and blocks out interference from the sides. This ensures a stable connection, even if the tower is miles away.
Wi-Fi for the Terrace and Maintenance
Imagine sitting on the terrace in front of your cabin or needing to configure the router. The integrated omni-directional antenna covers the immediate outdoor area with Wi-Fi. So you have internet on your tablet without having to pull extra cables.
Power? Easy via the Network Cable.
No power outlet on the roof or mast? No problem.
You simply pull a LAN cable from the building to the antenna. Using a passive PoE injector (24V), you send power up. Your router is powered and simultaneously delivers data down into your network. It doesn't get cleaner or simpler than that.
