The Simple Solution for Network Power
Anyone wanting to mount a security camera on an exterior wall or a WiFi Access Point on the ceiling often faces a problem: There is no power outlet there. The Passive PoE Injector solves this. It feeds power into the network cable at the router/switch end. At the device end, both arrive: Data and Power.
How Does Passive PoE Work?
In networks up to 100 Mbps, only 4 of the 8 wires in the cable are used for data. This adapter uses the free 4 wires for power.
Important: There is no voltage negotiation (not 802.3af compliant). If you connect a 24V adapter, 24V will come out the other end. Please check exactly what voltage your device needs and use a matching power adapter (sold separately).
Versatile Use
The injector is excellent for many models from MikroTik, Ubiquiti (Legacy), ALFA Network, or simple IP cameras that support the Passive PoE standard.
