Plastic is often enough, but in tough everyday industrial life, you want metal. The Teltonika PR5MEC00 is the premium solution for the DIN rail. It is screwed to the router just like the cheap adapters with two screws (included). But the difference lies in the grip:
Spring-Loaded Instead of Clamps
This adapter uses a strong steel spring. When you press the router onto the DIN rail, the spring gives way and then snaps shut tightly. This guarantees that the router does not slip, but can be removed with one hand movement for maintenance work – without plastic lugs breaking off.

We recommend the PR5MEC00 for all RUTX routers (as they are heavier) and for use in vehicles or vibrating machines.
