QuWireless QuMax AX50MO: The Rescue for Poor Internet
Many residents in rural areas know the problem: DSL is slow, fiber optic is not in sight, and the cellular signal barely penetrates modern, well-insulated house walls.
The QuMax AX50MO solves this problem radically. Instead of placing the router in the living room where the signal is poor, you mount it with this enclosure where reception is best: On the roof or on a mast.
Why the Router Must Go Outside
Every meter of antenna cable attenuates the signal. With this solution, there is practically no antenna cable. You open the weatherproof housing, click your Teltonika RUTX50 (not included) into it, and connect it to the internal connectors, which are only a few centimeters long.
The result is often amazing: Where there was hardly any LTE reception inside the house, you often achieve stable 5G speeds outside, easily enabling 4K streaming and video conferencing in the home office.
Power via Data Cable (PoE)
Don't worry, you don't have to lay a power cable to the roof. The Teltonika RUTX50 supports "Passive PoE".
This means: You simply lay a standard network cable (LAN) from the roof into your apartment. Downstairs, you connect a PoE injector to the power outlet. This sends the power up the LAN cable to the router.
So you have power upstairs and internet downstairs with just one drill hole. Downstairs, you can simply connect the cable to a switch or Wi-Fi Access Point to supply the house.
Not Just for Houses: Perfect for Mobility
Of course, the QuMax AX50MO is also at home in the mobile sector. Since these are omni-directional antennas, you do not have to align the antenna.
* On the Boat: Receive harbor Wi-Fi with the integrated Wi-Fi antennas and distribute it on board.
* In the RV: Use 5G for high-speed internet, no matter where you park.
