Poynting OMNI-600: The Reference for Maritime Antennas
When it comes to internet on the water or in a camper, the OMNI-600 is hard to beat. This antenna has established itself as the standard for 2x2 MIMO routers (such as Teltonika RUT240, RUT950, or RUTX11). It combines high performance with extreme durability.
Why 2x2 MIMO?
Modern cellular transmission uses multiple signal paths simultaneously (MIMO = Multiple Input Multiple Output).
* The OMNI-600 possesses two physically separate antenna elements inside the tube.
* These are vertically cross-polarized, which minimizes interference and increases speed.
* You only need this one antenna to supply both cellular ports (Main & Aux) of your router. This saves space and looks better than two individual antennas.
Future-Proof from 410 to 3800 MHz
Version 2 (V2) of this antenna has been specially optimized to receive the new 5G frequencies cleanly as well.
* Band 71 (600 MHz) and other low frequencies are covered, which is particularly important for range in rural areas or on the open sea.
* High frequencies up to 3800 MHz (CBRS / 5G) are supported to achieve maximum speeds near ports or cities.
Built for the Elements
The housing is the result of years of experience in the marine sector. It is made of high-quality ABS plastic that does not become brittle even after years of aggressive sunlight. The seals are IP65 certified so that neither saltwater nor fine desert dust can penetrate.
