This compact Dual Band Wi-Fi Omni Antenna is designed for 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi frequency band (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) and has a gain of 5dBi at 2.4 GHz and 7dBi at 5 GHz.
Omnidirectional WiFi Antennas in general are charcteristically constructed to cover large areas and to provide the WiFi Signal all-over into all directions. This WiFi Antenna has a horizontal beamwidth of 360° and a vertical beamwidth of 12° which allows to use this Wi-Fi Omni Antenna in single-storey buildings.
This WiFi stick antenna has an RP-SMA connector with a swivel joint (see product images) and is designed for direct attachment to a WiFi device or, for example, a magnetic base. The prerequisite, of course, is an external antenna connection in RP-SMA format (see example):
