Precision Instead of a Sprinkler: Your 120° WiFi Zone
No more sprinkler approach! While an omni-directional Antenna wastes energy in all directions, the Cyberbajt H-LINE 14/120 focuses your Access Point's transmission power precisely on a 120° sector. The result: you cover exactly the area you need – whether it's your WiFi for warehouses and company premises, a campsite, or a public hotspot. This not only reduces radio pollution but also ensures a significantly more stable and faster connection for all your users.
More Capacity for More Users: Scale Your Network
A single base station, but significantly more power? That's exactly what you achieve by using Sector Antennas. By mounting two or three of these Antennas on a mast, you segment your coverage area. Each sector serves its own user group, which massively increases your Network's overall capacity. This way, you can serve a high density of clients without performance degradation – ideal for events or heavily frequented areas.
Built for Outdoor Use: Wind and Weather? No Problem!
This Antenna is no fair-weather gadget. The housing (radome) is made of extremely impact-resistant and UV-resistant ABS plastic, which won't become brittle even after years in the sun. The solid aluminum back and mounting elements are designed for permanent outdoor use. With wind load resistance of up to 201 km/h, this powerful WiFi Base Station Antenna withstands storms and remains a reliable component of your Network.
The Polarization Trick: Cleverly Avoiding Interference
In densely populated areas, countless WiFi Networks compete for the same frequencies. Most of them use vertical polarization. The Cyberbajt H-LINE 14/120 transmits and receives with horizontal polarization. Imagine it like driving past a traffic jam on an empty side lane. This simple physical trick can noticeably improve signal quality and data throughput in noisy environments. For the connection, you only need a suitable Antenna Cable with an N-connector.
Strengths & Notes at a Glance
- Pro: Targeted 120° illumination reduces interference and efficiently covers large areas.
- Pro: Increases Network capacity when multiple Antennas are used at a base station.
- Pro: Extremely robust and weather-resistant construction for long-term outdoor use.
- Pro: Horizontal polarization improves signal quality in environments with many vertically polarized WiFi Networks.
- Note: The narrow vertical beamwidth of 16° requires very precise tilt adjustment during Mounting.
- Note: As a single-polarity Antenna, it does not support MIMO, which can limit the potential of modern Access Points.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What range can I expect with this 14dBi antenna?
This antenna is perfect for medium distances. Your exact range, however, depends on the transmit power of your WiFi Access Point, the quality of your Antenna Cables, and especially on a clear line of sight. Under optimal conditions, you can easily cover areas of several hundred meters with this WiFi Antenna.
Can I connect the antenna directly to my laptop to boost my WiFi reception?
No, it's not designed for that. This is a sector antenna for a base station. You connect it to a WiFi Access Point or WiFi Router to provide a strong Network signal for your devices like laptops or smartphones over a large area.
What does 'horizontal polarization' mean and what are its benefits?
Imagine it this way: most WiFi Networks transmit 'standing' (vertically). This antenna transmits 'lying' (horizontally). This allows you to use a kind of 'free lane on the data highway'. In areas with many WiFi Networks, this can massively reduce interference and make your connection noticeably more stable.
Which cable do I need to connect the antenna to my Router?
You need a high-quality, low-loss Antenna Cable. On one side, an N-connector for the antenna, and on the other side, the appropriate connector for your WiFi Router, usually RP-SMA. Important: Keep the Cabling as short as possible to avoid signal loss!
How complicated is the mounting, and how precisely do I need to adjust the tilt?
Mounting on the mast is super easy thanks to the included Mounting Systems. But beware: the exact tilt is extremely important! The vertical beam is very narrow. So, aim it precisely at the area you want to cover; otherwise, the signal will transmit over the heads of your users.
Is my Access Point protected from lightning strikes by the antenna?
The antenna has protection against electrostatic discharge, which occurs during thunderstorms. This protects your WiFi Access Point. However, it doesn't protect against a direct lightning strike! For that, you need separate, professional Lightning Protection in the feed line.
