5 Meter CNT-400: More Height for More Range
In radio communications (especially with Helium/LoRaWAN), Antenna height is crucial. Often, 3 meters are not enough to mount the Antenna freely radiating over the balcony railing or on a short mast. The 5-meter variant of the CNT-400 solves this problem.
It offers enough length for clean routing but remains so efficient in terms of attenuation that signal loss remains negligible. It is the technical equivalent of the well-known LMR-400 cable.
Optimized for Helium Mining (LoRaWAN)
This cable is the standard for ambitious miner setups.
* Ready to Connect: The RP-SMA connector fits directly to miners like the Bobcat 300, SenseCAP M1, or RAK V2. The N-connector fits almost all fiberglass outdoor Antennas.
* No Adapters: Every adapter costs signal strength. With this direct cable, you avoid unnecessary transitions.
* Efficiency: At 5 meters length, the attenuation in the LoRa range (868 MHz) is below 0.7 dB. This means: Almost the entire transmission and reception power arrives.
Use in Wi-Fi Applications
Do you want to mount a Wi-Fi Antenna outside on the facade to cover the garden? 5 meters is often exactly the right measure to get from the router (inside) through the wall to the optimal position outside.
Note on Installation
The CNT-400 is a massive cable (approx. 10mm thick). It is rigid and requires a certain bending radius. It is not suitable for being kinked sharply or pressed through very tight window seals. In return, it is extremely robust and durable.
