Ubiquiti USW-Flex-Mini-2.5G: Multi-Gigabit for Everywhere
Users have long waited for a small, affordable 2.5G switch from Ubiquiti. Here it is.
The Flex Mini 2.5G replaces the bottleneck at your desk. If you want to connect a NAS, a fast PC, or a modern WiFi 7 Access Point (e.g., U7 Pro), this switch no longer throttles at 1 Gbps but delivers full performance.
Important Difference to "USW-Flex" (Outdoor)
The name often causes confusion. Please note before buying:
* This is the "Mini": It is designed for indoor spaces (desktop).
* Not Outdoor: It is not waterproof.
* No PoE Distributor: While it can be powered via PoE itself, it cannot pass power to connected devices (no PoE Out).
If you are looking for an outdoor switch with PoE passthrough, you unfortunately have to stick with the old 1G model (USW-Flex) for now or look at the larger USW-Industrial.
Power Supply Made Easy
You have two options to operate the switch: 1. Via USB-C: A suitable USB-C power adapter is included. 2. Via PoE: Do you have a network jack delivering PoE? Perfect. The switch simply draws its power via the network cable (Port 1), saving you the power brick.
