What is airMAX? Unlike normal WiFi, where all devices 'talk over each other' (CSMA/CA), airMAX uses a TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) polling method. The base station assigns fixed time slots to each client for sending. This prevents collisions, reduces latency, and ensures significantly higher performance, especially when many clients are connected to one base station.
