Maximum 5G Power for Your Vehicle: The PANL-401
No more slow internet in your motorhome, camper, or truck. The Poynting PANL-401 was specifically developed to provide you with a first-class and stable internet connection on the go. By combining four powerful cellular Antennas in a flat housing, it maximizes the reception and transmission power of your 4G or 5G router. Whether for a mobile home office, smooth streaming on vacation, or reliable connectivity for your fleet management – this Antenna is the foundation for your mobile Network. It belongs to the category of high-performance Vehicle Antennas - 4G, 5G, WiFi.
Future-Proof Connectivity: From 4G to 6 GHz
The core of the PANL-401 is its extremely wide frequency coverage from 410 MHz to 6000 MHz. This not only supports all current 4G and 5G bands worldwide but is also already equipped for future frequency expansions in the 6 GHz range. This enormous flexibility ensures that your investment is protected long-term and that you always benefit from the best possible Network, no matter where your journey takes you. It is the perfect addition for modern devices like those from the Teltonika 4G / 5G Routers series.
Sophisticated 4x4 MIMO Technology for Stable Reception
The PANL-401 utilizes an advanced 4x4 MIMO configuration to optimize data transmission. MIMO (Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output) allows your router to send and receive multiple data streams simultaneously, drastically increasing speed and reliability. The Antenna elements are also cross-polarized (horizontally and vertically aligned), which intelligently utilizes signal reflections and improves connection quality – a crucial advantage when the vehicle is moving and signal conditions are constantly changing.
Easy Installation Without Drilling: Perfect for Campers & Co.
Poynting designed the PANL-401 for maximum flexibility. Instead of permanent roof mounting, this Antenna is simply attached to a window from the inside. The scope of delivery includes both high-quality suction cups and self-adhesive hook-and-loop straps. This allows for lightning-fast, residue-free mounting and dismounting. This makes it the ideal solution for rental motorhomes, leased vehicles, or anyone who doesn't want to drill holes in their vehicle. A top solution for the Yacht / Camper / Motorhome sector.
Strengths & Notes at a Glance
- Pro: Extremely wide frequency coverage (410-6000 MHz) for global 4G/5G compatibility and future-proofing.
- Pro: Excellent 4x4 MIMO performance with cross-polarization for high data rates and stable connections in motion.
- Pro: Very flexible and easy installation with suction cups or hook-and-loop strap, ideal for non-permanent window mounting.
- Pro: Robust and weatherproof construction (IP65, IK08, UV-stable) promises high durability.
- Note: The design is optimized for window mounting. A roof antenna might offer superior performance in some scenarios due to its free positioning.
- Note: The permanently integrated cable length of 2 meters can limit the router's positioning. Extensions are possible but lead to slight signal attenuation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is the Poynting PANL-401 a complete internet solution?
No, the PANL-401 is just an antenna. It must be connected to a compatible 4G/5G Router or modem with four cellular antenna ports to establish an internet connection.
Can I also mount the antenna on the outside of the vehicle?
Although it is IP65 weatherproof, it is primarily designed for indoor window mounting. Permanent outdoor mounting while driving is not recommended, as the Mounting Systems (suction cups/Velcro) are not designed for this.
Does the antenna also improve WiFi reception?
No, the four main antennas are designed for 4G/LTE and 5G cellular signals. The fifth antenna is exclusively for GPS/GNSS. It does not improve the reception of WiFi signals.
Does the antenna work with every 5G Router?
It works with any 5G Router that has four external SMA connectors for the cellular antennas. It is crucial that the router supports 4x4 MIMO to unleash the full potential of the antenna.
What does 'cross-polarized' mean and why is it important?
Cross-polarization means that the antenna elements are aligned both vertically and horizontally. This helps to better utilize signal reflections and maintain a more stable Network connection, especially when the vehicle is moving.
Do tinted car windows affect the antenna's performance?
Yes, metallized or heavily tinted windows can significantly reduce signal strength. It is recommended to mount the antenna on a window without metallic tinting film to achieve the best performance.
