The Poynting DASH-1 4G antenna is specifically designed for low-profile applications, such as smart meters. This 4G antenna is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is typically mounted on the top or side of a smart meter enclosure. The DASH-1 antenna is designed with a focus on easy installation and covers the 4G frequency bands from 698 - 2700 MHz. It offers outstanding electrical performance across the entire 698 - 2700 MHz 4G frequency band with a gain of up to 4dBi.
Of course, the DASH-1 4G antenna can also be used in various other IoT or M2M scenarios. With its wide frequency coverage, the Poynting antenna is also compatible with UMTS (3G) or 2G applications, as well as the following technologies: Zigbee, Z-Wave, LoRaWAN, Sigfox, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi HaLow, and Bluetooth.
The weatherproof and robust IP67-rated housing ensures reliable operation in outdoor environments. The antenna can operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +75°C. The 1-meter-long antenna cable of the DASH-1 is equipped with a right-angled SMA connector. The antenna is mounted via the threaded base with a locking nut.
