Poynting EPNT-4: No Compromises on Reception
Anyone traveling by RV, expedition vehicle, or yacht knows the problem: The 5G signal outside is weak, but by the time it reaches the router in the cupboard through 5 meters of antenna cable, nothing is left of it. The Poynting EPNT-4 solves this physical problem radically. It is a so-called CPE Antenna (Customer Premises Equipment). This means: You install your mobile router directly inside the antenna housing. The connection between the antenna and modem is only a few centimeters long. The result: 0 dB cable loss. You get the absolute maximum out of the available network.
Ideal for Vanlife & Overland Travel
Modern 5G frequencies (3.5 GHz and higher) in particular are extremely attenuated by coaxial cables. With the EPNT-4, you bypass this bottleneck. You only run an Ethernet cable (for data and power via PoE) from the roof to the interior. This makes installation easier and more flexible.

Inside the robust "shark fin" housing work:

Built to Last (IP67)
Poynting is known from the marine sector. The EPNT-4 is made of UV-stable ASA plastic, is saltwater resistant, and completely waterproof (IP67). It withstands branches hitting the roof during off-roading just as well as saltwater spray at full speed.
