The Lifesaver for Short Cables
Nothing is more annoying than an outdoor cable that ends just short of the destination. With the LogiLink NP0086, you solve this problem in seconds. This connector acts as a waterproof coupler: You take your existing cable, plug it in on one side, and extend it on the other side with another patch cable.
Sealed Tight against Everything
Normal "couplers" would corrode immediately outdoors. The NP0086 has a housing made of resistant nylon (PA66) and rubber seals at both ends. When you tighten the screw caps, they close firmly around the cable. The result is a connection according to IP68 standard – absolutely waterproof.
Full 10 Gigabit Power
Many outdoor connectors are only Cat.5. This one is Cat.6A. This means it is ready for state-of-the-art cameras, outdoor WiFi access points, and fast fiber optic connections. PoE (Power over Ethernet) is also passed through without problems.
