Can you connect the Antenna directly to your laptop?
No, unfortunately, you can't connect it directly. The Antenna requires an active WiFi device. However, you can use it perfectly with a WiFi USB Adapter that has an external antenna connector. For that, you'll just need the appropriate connection cable.
What does the 35°/30° beamwidth mean for you in practice?
Imagine the beamwidth like the light cone of a flashlight. Within this narrow area, your signal is super strong. Outside of it, it quickly diminishes. This means for you: aim the Antenna very precisely at the receiving end to utilize its full power.
Does this Antenna also work with my 5 GHz WiFi?
