LogiLink NP0079N: Cheap Insurance for Expensive Ports
A careless moment, a foot in the cable tangle – and the expensive notebook is on the floor or the network socket is broken out of the motherboard. Such damages cost hundreds of Euros and nerves. The LogiLink Break-Away Adapter costs a fraction and prevents exactly that.
How does "Break-Away" work?
The adapter is simply plugged into the RJ45 port of your device. Your actual network cable goes into the socket of the adapter. * Normal Operation: The connection is stable. Data flows at up to 10,000 Mbit/s (10G). The cable does not fall out on its own. * In an Emergency: As soon as a pulling force of 10 Newton (approx. 1 kg) acts on the cable – e.g., by tripping – the plug connection releases immediately. The energy is directed into the separation, not your device.
