Stable Wireless Performance in the 5 GHz Range
The NanoStation Loco M5 utilizes the less congested 5 GHz band, making it the top choice in urban or densely populated areas. Where traditional 2.4 GHz solutions often suffer from interference, the Loco M5 delivers consistent performance and low latency thanks to airMAX TDMA technology.
Precision Technology for Clear Line of Sight
With an antenna gain of 13 dBi, the Loco M5 focuses the signal more tightly than the M2 model. This allows for greater ranges but requires a clear line of sight between stations. Obstacles like trees or walls significantly attenuate the 5 GHz signal, making a clear path essential.
Mounting & PoE
As with the entire NanoStation series, power is supplied via the network cable (Passive PoE). A compatible injector is included. The device can be mounted to a pole using a cable tie without special tools.
