JARFT CA-24-04: Robust Wi-Fi for Machines & Vehicles
In the IoT and M2M (Machine-to-Machine) sector, antennas are often needed in places where normal rod antennas would break off or be in the way. The JARFT CA-24-04 solves this problem with its compact, durable design. It is not simply plugged on, but firmly screwed through the housing or roof.
Application: Industry & Vending
Vending machines, parking ticket machines, or digital billboards need a reliable connection but often stand outdoors or in public areas.
* Security: By screwing it from the inside (threaded spigot with nut), the antenna cannot be easily unscrewed or stolen from the outside.
* Connectivity: With 5 dBi gain, it penetrates even thicker housing walls or ensures reception when the machine is poorly positioned.
Application: Logistics & Automotive
Thanks to the wide temperature range (-40° to +80° C) and IP65 certification, the antenna is also at home on vehicles.
* Forklifts & AGVs: The antenna is compact enough not to get in the way on industrial trucks, but delivers the necessary Wi-Fi signal for the inventory management system.
* Robustness: Vibrations, splashing water, or dust cannot harm the housing. The rubber lip at the base reliably seals the drill hole.
Mounting & Connection
Installation is incredibly simple: Drill a hole, push the antenna through, tighten the nut from below – done. The hardwired CLF100 cable (Low Loss) is thin enough for tight radii but robust enough for continuous operation. The RP-SMA connector fits almost all common Wi-Fi routers and modules.
