An Eye for Everything: The 360-Degree Camera for Business Surveillance
No more blind spots and complicated installations of multiple cameras. The UniFi Protect AI 360 captures a complete 360° area in razor-sharp 4MP resolution with its fisheye lens. Whether it's an open-plan office, retail space, parking lot, or warehouse – a single camera is enough to fully cover a huge area. This not only saves installation effort and costs but also ensures seamless surveillance where absolutely nothing escapes your notice. The camera integrates seamlessly into your existing Network and is supplied with power and data as a client via a single Ethernet Cable.
Intelligence Onboard: UniFi Protect Camera with Person Detection
The true strength of the AI 360 lies in its quad-core processor. This computing power enables "Edge AI," meaning that the intelligent detection of people and vehicles takes place directly on the camera. Your video data does not need to be sent to a cloud server for analysis. This not only increases the reaction speed for notifications but also maximally protects your privacy. As part of the `UniFi Protect` ecosystem, you benefit from a professional system without any subscription fees – all recordings and smart functions remain local with you.
Robust and Reliable: Vandalism-Proof PoE Surveillance Camera
The AI 360 was designed for demanding use. The housing made of an aluminum alloy and polycarbonate is IK08 certified, making it extremely shock-resistant and vandalism-proof. The IPX4 classification reliably protects the camera from splash water from all directions. This makes it perfect for mounting in covered outdoor areas such as under canopies, in driveways, or on covered terraces. For commissioning, you only need a PoE-enabled `Ethernet Switch` or one of the separately available `PoE Injectors / Power Supplies`.
Digital Pan, Tilt, Zoom: Full Control, Even Afterwards
Although the camera is physically fixed, it offers you the full flexibility of a PTZ camera – only digitally. The software allows you to freely pan, tilt, and zoom within the 360° view. The special thing about it: The camera always records the full 360° image. This means you can examine every angle in the recordings afterwards, as if you were there live. This digital PTZ function makes the AI 360 one of the most flexible `IP Cameras` on the market.
Strengths & Notes at a Glance
- Pro: A single camera can fully cover a very large area thanks to its 360° fisheye lens, potentially replacing 3-4 traditional cameras.
- Pro: The detection of people and vehicles takes place directly on the camera (Edge AI), which increases privacy and enables fast, precise notifications.
- Pro: The software allows digital pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) within the 360° view, both live and in recordings.
- Pro: The robust housing with IK08 impact resistance and IPX4 weather protection makes the camera resistant to vandalism and ideal for protected outdoor areas.
- Note: Due to the distribution of the 4MP resolution over 360°, detail recognition (e.g., faces) at long distances may be limited during digital zooming.
- Note: The IPX4 certification only protects against splash water. The camera is not suitable for mounting where it is exposed to direct, heavy rain.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Does the Ubiquiti AI 360 require a paid subscription?
No. The camera is part of the UniFi Protect ecosystem, which operates entirely without monthly fees or cloud subscriptions. All recordings and AI functions are stored locally on your UniFi Protect Controller.
Can the AI 360 camera be used outdoors?
Yes, but only in a protected outdoor area. Its IPX4 classification means it is splash-proof, but not fully waterproof. It must be mounted under a roof, eaves, or similar cover.
What is needed to operate the UniFi AI 360?
You need a UniFi Protect Controller (e.g., UDM Pro, UNVR, Cloud Key G2+) for managing and storing recordings, as well as a PoE Switch (802.3af) or a PoE Injector to power the camera and provide data via the Ethernet Cable.
Does the AI 360 support two-way audio?
Yes, it features a built-in microphone and speaker that enable two-way communication via the UniFi Protect Mobile App.
How does the 360° view work in recordings?
The camera always records the full 360° fisheye image. During playback, you can digitally pan, tilt, and zoom within this recording as if you were controlling a live PTZ camera.
Is the UniFi AI 360 a WiFi camera?
No, it is a purely wired camera. It connects to the Network via an Ethernet Cable, which also serves as the power source (Power over Ethernet). It has no WiFi capabilities.
