The Switch 24 (USW 24) is a fully managed, fanless switch with (24) GbE RJ45 ports and (2) 1G SFP ports. The versatile USW 24 provides Gigabit links to Ethernet devices while also supplying Gigabit fiber uplink options fit for an enterprise network. The switch also offers an extensive suite of Layer 2 switching protocols, including port-specific operation modes (switching, mirroring, or aggregate), and features a 1.3" LCM color touchscreen that concisely displays key system and connection insights. This switch can also be monitored or configured from anywhere with the powerful, intuitive UniFi Network web application and mobile app.
Glass fiber
The USW-24 also offers two separate 1GBit fiber optic SFP ports. These can be used, for example, for uplink connections to other switches or network segments.
UniFi Controller
The UniFi Switch is managed through the free UniFi Controller. Designed for convenient control, the UniFi Controller allows administrators to configure and monitor UniFi switches and other UniFi components using the graphical user interface. There is no additional software, license or support fee for the UniFi Controller software.
A single UniFi Controller can manage multiple UniFi locations in the cloud in a centralized interface. Each location is logically separated and has its own network monitoring, configuration, statistics and administration access.
The UniFi Controller allows you to access the UniFi Switch and configure a variety of features:
- PoE setting per port
- Operation mode (switching, mirroring or both together) per port
- Network / VLAN configuration
- Jumbo Frame and Flow Control Services
- Network settings
