When "Good" Isn't Good Enough: UISP-Cable-Carrier
The Ubiquiti UISP-Cable-Carrier was developed for the most extreme environments. Imagine a transmission tower with 20 other antennas, FM transmitters, and mobile network hardware. Here, a "storm" of electromagnetic radiation prevails. A normal cable would pick up interference here, leading to packet loss. The Carrier Cable blocks this interference. Thanks to the double shielding (Braid + Foil), your data arrives cleanly.
More Than Just Shielding
Inside the cable runs a cross separator (Divider). This physically keeps the twisted wire pairs apart. This drastically improves the "Signal-to-Noise Ratio" (SNR). If you plan to operate a Ubiquiti airFiber or LTU antenna, this cable is the only right choice to truly utilize the full speed of the hardware.
Installation
Due to the braid and the divider, the cable is slightly thicker and stiffer than the PRO cable. Please use appropriate shielded connectors (Ubiquiti UISP Connector) that can accommodate the thick jacket and the drain wire.
