The PowerBeam M2-400 directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth. With the focus in one direction, the PowerBeam M2-400 blocks or spatially filters out noise, so noise immunity is improved. This feature is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.
Integrated DesignUbiquitis InnerFeed technology integrates the radio into the feedhorn of an antenna, so there is no need for a cable. This improves performance because it eliminates cable losses. Providing increased performance from its faster processor and innovative mechanical design at a low cost, the PowerBeam M2-400 is extremely versatile and cost effective to deploy.
Passive PoEUsing PoE technology allows to transmit data stream and power / energy through the enthernet cable which integrates the PowerBeam M2-400 to your network enviroment. There is no need to to install any extra wired power cord. A 24V, 0.5A PoE Injector is included.
airMAX Technology IncludedUnlike standard WiFi protocol, Ubiquiti's Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller. This time slot method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. It provides significant performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability compared to all other outdoor systems in its class
Robust outdoor designThe mechanical design of the PowerBeam M2 400 provides weatherproof performance. Acitivity and signal strength LED's provided for installers. Enhanced RF and Ethernet ESD/Surge protection enables prolonged operation in harshest environments. The PowerBeam M2 400 is designed for mast or pole installation.
Long Distance and TCP/IP ThroughputThe PowerBeam M2-400 is capable of high speed, carrier-class links up to 25km with real TCP/IP throughput of 150Mbps+.
