Starting with the first-generation NanoBridge, Ubiquiti Networks pioneered the all-in-one design for an airMAX product functioning as a CPE (Customer Premises Equipment). Now Ubiquiti Networks launches the latest generation of CPE, the PowerBeam.

The PowerBeam M2-400 directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth. With the focus in one direction, the PowerBeam M2-400 blocks or spatially filters out noise, so noise immunity is improved. This feature is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.

Integrated Design

Ubiquitis InnerFeed technology integrates the radio into the feedhorn of an antenna, so there is no need for a cable. This improves performance because it eliminates cable losses. Providing increased performance from its faster processor and innovative mechanical design at a low cost, the PowerBeam M2-400 is extremely versatile and cost effective to deploy.

Passive PoE

Using PoE technology allows to transmit data stream and power / energy through the enthernet cable which integrates the PowerBeam M2-400 to your network enviroment. There is no need to to install any extra wired power cord. A 24V, 0.5A PoE Injector is included.

airMAX Technology Included

Unlike standard WiFi protocol, Ubiquiti's Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller. This time slot method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. It provides significant performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability compared to all other outdoor systems in its class

Robust outdoor design

The mechanical design of the PowerBeam M2 400 provides weatherproof performance. Acitivity and signal strength LED's provided for installers. Enhanced RF and Ethernet ESD/Surge protection enables prolonged operation in harshest environments. The PowerBeam M2 400 is designed for mast or pole installation.

Long Distance and TCP/IP Throughput

The PowerBeam M2-400 is capable of high speed, carrier-class links up to 25km with real TCP/IP throughput of 150Mbps+.

Suitable for boats

My boat needed a little upgrade, and that included a new Wi-Fi antenna. I found what I was looking for at WLANshop24 and bought this antenna for a good price. Connecting it and using it for the first time went smoothly. Last week I also tested the internet connection while out on the water and was surprised by how good the connection quality was. I'm delighted.

Works as desired!

I was initially a bit shocked by how large the antenna is, even though I had read that it's 134cm tall. However, with the mounting bracket I bought separately, the antenna can be somewhat concealed. Technically, it works perfectly. The connection has always been very stable and surprisingly fast.

The antenna is easy and simple to use. Anyone should be able to manage it. I deducted one star for the price; while it's very good, it's not in everyone's price range. It's suitable for our needs and we use it quite often. Overall, we're satisfied.

It's worth it

We've had several of these antennas for traveling. We enjoy camping. However, they often broke. The one-star deduction is solely due to the price. Even though the quality is good, it's very expensive. Otherwise, it's easy to use and works well.

Mein Boot brauchte eine kleine Aufrüstung und dazu gehörte auch eine neue Wlanantenne. Bei Wlanshop24 bin ich fündig geworden und habe diese Antenne für einen guten Preis erworben. Das Anschließen und die erste Benutzung haben gut geklappt. Letzte Woche habe ich auch ausprobiert wie gut das Internet ist wenn ich rausfahre und war überrascht, wie gut die Qualität der Verbindung war. Ich bin erfreut.

Der Preis für die TravelConnector-Antenne schien mir erst recht hoch zu sein, aber vergleichbare Anbieter verlangen ähnliche Preise. Die Lieferung erfolgte zügig und die Einrichtung ist schnell erledigt gewesen!

Ich war erst etwas erschrocken, wie groß die Antenne doch ist, auch wenn ich gelesen hatte, dass sie eine Höhe von 134cm hat. Mit Montagegelenk, welches ich dazu gekauft hatte, lässt sich die Antenne aber auch etwas verstecken. Technisch läuft sie einwandfrei. Die Verbindung war bis jetzt immer sehr stabil und auch erstaunlich schnell.

Die Antenne ist in der Nutzung einfach und simpel. Das müsste eigentlich jeder hinbekommen. Den Stern Abzug gibt es für den Preis, sie ist zwar sehr gut jedoch nicht jedermanns Preisklasse. Für unsere Nutzung ist sie geeignet und kommt auch desöfteren zum Einsatz. Wir sind insgesamt zufrieden.

Wir haben mehrere solcher Antennen gehabt, zum Reisen. Wir gehen gerne Campen. Desöfteren gingen diese jedoch kaputt. Der Stern Abzug ist nur wegen des Preises. Er ist, auch wenn die Qualität gut ist, sehr hoch. Ansonsten ist die Anwendung leicht und funktioniert gut.
