The Travel Connector TCS-681 WiFi system is specially designed for mobile use, for example in mobile homes, caravans or caravans.

Many ports, docks and marinas, hotels and campgrounds offer either free or subscription WiFi service. The new TravelConnector WiFi system is ideal for using it from a great distance or below deck. With the TravelConnector System Set, you can surf the Internet even with a weak WiFi signal - up to 2700 meters (under optimal conditions) away from the nearest WiFi access point / hotspot!

The TravelConnector TCS-681 WiFi set consists of a very compact 2.4GHz / 5GHz dual-band 10dBi WiFi omnidirectional antenna with weatherproof IP66 housing and 5m USB cable, a matching high-performance WiFi USB adapter with MediaTek MT7610 chipset, and a 2D articulated tilt holder (other mounting systems are also available for an additional charge) and a WiFi travel router (Frontrunner VR400W) with 230V / 12V connection cable.

The powerful 10dBi WiFi omnidirectional antenna is optimized for the frequency range from 2.4 to 5 GHz. Due to the 360° signal opening angle, the antenna does not have to be aligned. This feature is ideal for all applications where the direction of the WiFi base stations or hot spots is not known. This type of antenna is also the ideal solution for boats and yachts that cannot always maintain their position.

The integration of an active WiFi USB adapter directly in the WiFi antenna makes a lossy antenna cable superfluous. This means that the entire transmission and reception power of the WiFi USB adapter can flow directly into the WiFi antenna without losses and increases the range of the WiFi signal many times over.

The WiFi antenna is made of stainless steel (V4A), glass fiber (GRP) and POM to withstand even the most adverse environments such as seawater. It can withstand wind speeds of up to 170 km/h and temperatures from -40C° to +80C°. Thanks to the IP66-certified plastic housing, the TravelConnector WiFi antenna is absolutely weatherproof and can also be used outdoors under extreme weather conditions.

The Travel Connector WiFi system is the solution for a stable and reliable WiFi signal on your yacht, on your sailing boat, in your mobile home, caravan or camper, whether for a single PC or optionally in combination with the WiFi travel router for multiple end devices connected to the to access the remote WiFi network.

The TravelConnector TCS-681 set is connected to your PC or laptop with the USB cable immediately after the simple plug & play installation - done. The flexible USB cable is easy to lay and can be extended to a total of 40 meters without loss if required.

In combination with the WiFi travel router, several WiFi-enabled devices such as notebooks, smartphones, tables, IP cameras, etc. can be operated simultaneously and wirelessly. In this way, you can conveniently surf the web with multiple end devices at the same time via the existing WiFi connection of the TravelConnector. All settings are made via a web browser and can be controlled with any operating system. Driver and/or tool installation is not required. The power supply for the WiFi electronics in the antenna is provided via the USB router, which is operated with 11-24V DC voltage.
